Lenormand Reading: Things Looking Up at Work?

Posted on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 03:11 am

Deck: Blue Owl - Lenormand
Spread: Line of Five

With all the readings I’ve been doing regarding work, I’m sure it’s obvious by now that I’m having a lot of issues in that area. I’m at the last stretch though, and depending on how everything turns out, I may either end up leaving the company or possibly “end” what I was doing and get promoted or something similar. I know that sounds contradicting, but the situation is rather complicated.

I’ve recently just finished up the 1st phase of a major mock-up and proposal for a project that we’ve been working on for over a year only to be demolished completely by my liar of a manager’s horrible misdoings. Depending on how well this is received, it’s basically the decisive point for a lot of issues including my position within the company… so in short, it’s very important, and I’ve barely slept all week just trying to complete it.

I sent the files out to G, who is a key figure within the company and also someone who has been helping me greatly in this whole mess. He was the one who gave me this opportunity and assignment, as well as the person who would coordinate with my department head about all this in order to come up with the final verdict. However, I haven’t heard back from him at all after 2 days, which is very strange for him because he’s been waiting for this and is also usually very good at getting back to me immediately. I’m a bit worried, so I drew some cards to ask why I haven’t heard from him yet- with a bit of timing thrown in, as well as the circumstances surrounding the topic. Here’s what I have:

Daily Lenormand: Worries and Lifelong Goals

Posted on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 12:32 am

Two posts back to back- I really need to be doing my work. :( But it’s been a while since I last posted a Lenormand daily reading, and I just wanted to record my impressions a bit.

cardcardcard
The cards are 36 Cross + 13 Child + 35 Anchor

I drew these cards in the morning and wasn’t really sure what to make of it at first. Now, as I’m nearing the end of my day, I’ve come to realize that throughout the entire day, no matter what I was doing, I had been thinking about where my life was headed… the goals I had made in the past, what I wanted in my life, and most especially one particular project that I had always wanted to do but kept putting off for other outstanding responsibilities.

It hasn’t been pretty inside my head today as I try to reconcile with the fact that I’m really not happy with where I currently am in life. And then I got to thinking about all the job issues I’ve been having lately, along with a surprised realization that I might not mind too terribly if I do end up losing this job. It would certainly make my life less stressful, though really difficult financially… but most important of all, I would actually be able to perhaps pursue these goals of mine, get to work on my dream project.

I got so excited just thinking about it, I even began to mentally outline and plan out things. It’s a huge leap, it’s scary, it’s a risk, but I also felt like I was on the verge of something meaningful to me, my lifelong goals, and my need for this new purpose. Whether this is a thought that will change tomorrow or not, I don’t know. But today, I think that was what the cards were saying to me.

Lenormand Timing: Losing My Job Soon?

Posted on Thursday, April 09, 2009 at 12:10 am

As mentioned in the reading on the possibilities of me losing my job soon, I followed up with a timing reading. Two readings below. The first question is until when will I remain working at this company- no focus card chosen and using Sylvie’s no layout method of reading about time. I’m also going to stick to her timing interpretations on this one. I’m finding Treppner’s meanings and Sylvie’s meanings really different in terms of what each card represents for time, so it’s probably best not to merge the two.

Reading About Work… Jobless Soon?

Posted on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 at 02:39 am

In the recent months, I had been getting an unsettling feeling regarding my job through changes happening at work and the vibes I’ve been getting from some of my Tarot cards plus the general Lenormand work reading I did. I haven’t actually given the subject a real reading yet though, so I decided to do one with the Lenormand cards. I’m going with Sylvie’s no layout method, but also incorporating a bit of how Chanah reads the Line of Nine. Initially, I wasn’t planning on using this many cards… but they really caught my attention so I left them in:

13 Child, 3 Ship, 20 Garden, 19 Tower, 35 Anchor, 25 Ring, 6 Cloud, 32 Moon, 8 Coffin
