It’s been a tough few weeks, and it just got a whole lot worse the past few days.
There was an accident at home, and as a result, my mother’s been bed-ridden with several broken ribs, a fractured hip, and an injured spine. She’s currently unable to move without causing further damage, and the doctor has instructed close monitoring for this delicate period as there’s also a danger that her broken ribs may puncture her lung, heart, or cause internal bleeding due to their positions.
It’s just been really difficult, but I wanted to take a bit of time to let you all know that it might be a while before I can post much of anything, including some of the stuff I promised a few of you.
I’ll be back when I can…

I haven’t been as active on here as I was planning- I still want to post about the Housewives Tarot deck, a detailed example reading using my Journey spread with both Tarot and the Lenormand, and various other stuff. I’ll get to them soon! I’ve been swamped at work and things haven’t been looking great on that front.
Any free time I had, I was busy setting up a cartomancy forum with my fellow card lover friends, Fenn and Wood. If you love cartomancy, whether with the Lenormand, Tarot cards, or any oracle cards at all, you should give it a visit! It’s new, and we’d love to have more members. I like that we can talk about all sorts of cartomancy methods in a relaxed manner- it’s not an uptight board. ;) Plus there’s a lacking for an English forum that’s focused more on oracle decks. Give it a visit here: The Cartomancy Forum
That aside, I just wanna give a heads up about possible RSS updates going bonkers with listing any updated entries as new again. I’m going to be trying to add a “related entries” section which would require me to go through some entries to edit them. I still can’t figure out why my RSS feeds are acting weird with updated entries, but please bear with me through this implementation. I’m hoping that after adding this bit in, it’ll make browsing the entries smarter and more convenient. :)
Note: If you guys see odd “related entries” tacked to the bottom of this post or at the comment page… please just ignore it. I need to test it out so I’m using this post to do it!
Test test test: Fake edit to test RSS feed issue. Trying to fix the RSS duplicate entries problem… sorry if this ends up not working and you guys are seeing this entry as a new feed again. Somehow, I’ll get to the bottom of it!

Ah, it’s been a while since I’ve last updated. Things have just been so busy at work. I have been doing readings and jotting them down in my journal, but I just haven’t had the chance to do in-depth analyzing here on this blog. :( Several readings have been very insightful though (and also already confirmed), so I’m wondering if I should post them here and backdate them anyway for those who might be interested in seeing how the cards’ messages correlate with actual events that followed…
In any case, my RSS feeds seems to be acting quirky where it grabs any edits or updates I’ve made to a post and throw it up to the front in duplicates as though they’re new entries (??). So if any of you are noticing old entries repeating and appearing to the front and such, please excuse it.
Other than that, I’ve added updates to 2 readings- it was quite accurate and interesting to see how the cards have panned out:
- Lenormand Timing: Gentleman Incoming (Mar 19) - purely timing
- Lenormand Line of 9: About Work (Apr 1)
I know I still owe someone a post on the way I approached my daily Tarot, so I’ll get to that soon… I promise!

I was looking through my various journals lately (actual old-fashioned notebooks) and I realized how lazy I’ve really gotten with it all. I’ve got pages and pages of records for my readings, daily draws and otherwise, but barely any notes or reflections on them. I keep telling myself that I’d go back and add to them, but I haven’t done it much… and the next thing I know, weeks and weeks have passed and most of the readings have now become a blur to me. Right now, I’m looking through them, and I know that some of the cards were significant and I remember seeing insightful correlations at the time… but I can hardly remember exactly what now because the dates listed have become just dates to me. These journals are… well, definitely not what proper journals should be!
I’m hoping that by doing this via an online journal, I’d get back into my groove a bit. I’ve always been better at typing things down because I often think faster than I can write… plus writing takes too long, especially with how I like to speculate on various interpretations, etc. It’s been a long time since I actively kept a Tarot blog though, so this is gonna take a bit to get started again. I’m looking forward to it in any case, and it should be a great way for me to start my Lenormand studies as well.
Now I just have to go and make my layout, code it up so that I can replace this default layout, and set this site up!
