Since I’m trying to pay attention to my various decks, I’ve taken to doing draws at different times of the day. What can I say? I’m in search of a schedule that works best for my draws! I decided to pull a daily from my Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards for tomorrow now.
The cards are Message + Hope + Death
Since this is a daily reading, I usually knock the “seriousness” down a few notches. Hope being in the middle tells me that this is likely related to something I had been waiting or hoping for, perhaps even from afar since this card sometimes carry the feeling of distance with it.
Message+Hope confirms the distance and also clarifies a bit on what I’m waiting for. The lady in Hope is also facing towards the Message that’s headed her way, so the expectation applies here as well. In short, the thing that Message is bringing is likely something that won’t surprise me.
Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 things that I’ve been hoping and waiting for- two of which would be coming from a distance. However, one of it is an email and I’d usually get Letter for that. The other is a package, which would apply to Message as this card can often be about solid goods when it’s talking about a concrete thing coming your way. The Message+Hope combo also gives me the feeling that it’s something I’ve been a bit impatient about.
Death as the final card is indeed a confirmation that the wait is over. The direction that Death is facing gives me that feeling as well. Whatever it is that Message is bringing and that I’ve been waiting for (Hope), it’s arriving! Whenever one is waiting for a solution or for something to come to fruition, the Death card at the end is usually saying that we have finally arrived there.
Will update tomorrow if something does indeed come my way. I hope it’s what I think it is (my package of Dondorf and ASS Lenormand decks that’s coming all the way from Germany). :D

June 12, 2009: Confirmed! Package received from Germany today- finally! I had been waiting for this for a while now, so I’m super glad it came today. It’d really suck if it got carried over to next week since it’s Friday today. Cards are spot on again. ;) Both the Dondorf and the ASS decks are awesome, by the way. :D

How cool! glad your daily came quickly :) sometimes mine can only be a few hours, & others can be days!
I have both those decks too, and love them. I’m hard pressed to choose between them and the French cartomancy- it depends on my mood, which artwork I’m drawn to.

My dailies used to take days to manifest, but now it usually only happens that way when there’s an important or recurring theme that the cards have deemed it important to keep sending me messages on (or when my days are too boring that it was picking something else up… lol)
The Dondorf really is very pretty (I was debating between that and the French Cartomancy since it’s supposed to be virtually the same pictures) and I absolutely love the ASS deck! It’s probably not the deck that people would jump to get at first, but I love the colors and the different feel it gives off. :) I’ve now got a total of 4 Lenormand decks, and I fear this isn’t the end of it!! Oh my poor wallet…
