Deck: Gipsy Fortune Telling Cards - Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten
Spread: General 3-Card Draw
Well, perhaps not so much intrigue since I’ve had enough deception, lies, and really messed up corporate company politics in the past few months to last me a lifetime. My cards, most specifically the Art Deco, Gypsy, and even the Kipper, just won’t stop repeating the message over and over again though. I haven’t had the chance to post those readings here, but I did jot them down in my journal. In a span of two weeks, I think there’s not a day that’s gone by without Thief, Falseness, or Enemy showing up somewhere, if not all. I’ve also been getting a lot of Jealousy and Misfortune as well.
Is there just a whole lot of bad vibe going around or am I missing some big picture that the cards have deemed it necessary to keep screaming the message at me?

The cards are Thief + Sweetheart + Constancy
Thief + Sweetheart suggests that there’s been some underhandedness at play, the kind that usually results in a loss of some sort since Thief is, as the card and image implies, often about theft. What’s “stolen” can represent both concrete objects and people or abstract concepts, as well as the feelings that come along with it (like feeling betrayed or disappointed).
Sweetheart facing away from Thief gives me the feeling that she might not be aware of this foul play or that there’s stuff going on behind her back that she’s not completely seeing. It could also suggest an unwillingness to think about or deal with the issues brought on by Thief.
Going along those lines, the “eye” of Constancy coming after and pointing towards Sweetheart may indicate that the Thief’s doings will become clear or finally exposed. In a yet more positive light, Constancy could even bring about karmic justice and the stabilizing of circumstances as a result.
Unfortunately, being that Constancy often depicts stable or unchanging factors, for good or bad (and for long time frames too), it could instead very well be saying that all the issues are gonna stick around for a while- which I’ve found to be the case a lot of times for Constancy when one is waiting or hoping for something to change, as Sweetheart seems to be doing. Nevertheless, this is a Thief issue and Constancy is one of the cards that could counteract it, so my take is that things will eventually come to light… but be prepared that it could take a while longer yet as there could also be more “stuff” waiting to surface.
All in all, I believe this is talking about the big problems I’ve been having at work that does carry a lot of the Thief’s themes. Consequently, I got an email earlier today from G warning me that I may be hearing some “rumors” from my liar of a manager soon because a new complication has apparently surfaced that he can’t talk about yet but didn’t want me to be worried or distracted by the stuff that I would probably be hearing about soon. Perhaps this is what my daily draw is saying, though I can’t help but wonder if this is what all those nasty cards appearing repeatedly is trying to say as well.
Interestingly, these 3 cards may also take a completely different spin and be talking about me being the Thief. Aside from all the negative aspects of the card, it sometimes can also mean one is tip-toeing around and going at things in a sneaky or careful manner. Constancy would then be saying there are watchful eyes all over- be careful, exercise extra caution!
And that could totally apply too because I was assigned to put together a major project proposal and presentation with strict orders of secrecy. It’s what I’ve been heavily working on since the end of May without anyone but G and the department head knowing, but as this nears completion, it’s inevitable that it will be revealed eventually and I would instead be seen as someone who was being underhanded- regardless of the fact that I was following orders.
There are a couple other takes for this draw, but these are the ones that seems to apply most for me at this time.
hallo, i think u read is very good. i like your meaning. i try use gipsy cards but is not as good success as tarot and lenormand. i search for many teach but there very little informatione on internet. i hope u can teach?
thank very much
Hi Emmi,
Thank you for visiting and for the nice comments. :) There is, indeed, not that much information on the internet for the Zigeuner, at least not in English that I’m aware of. I started using these some years ago on my own, so I admit the way I read them may or may not be the same as the traditional practices, but it has worked well for me so it’s what I’ve continued to use.
I’ve heard of several readers who also had difficulty clicking with the Gypsy cards at first, but after reading continuously with them and picking up how the cards were communicating, they’ve really grown to love the deck. Have you been drawing the cards regularly and keeping a journal? If not, I would highly recommend it- it’s really one of the best ways to learn and also to build up an understanding of the cards (whether the meanings themselves, the reading methods that work for you, or how they communicate with you, etc.)
As for teaching- if by that, you mean sharing my experience with these cards, then sure. :) A few people have asked me if I could talk a little about my meanings for the Gypsy cards, so that’s one of my plans when my time frees up a bit. Hopefully, it’ll be sooner rather than later!
Tea :)
