Deck: Gipsy Fortune Telling Cards - Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten
Spread: General 3-Card Draw
I know I promised a few of you that I’d post my Gypsy card meanings and how I read them, but I’ve been really busy lately (something I feel like I’m saying all the time nowadays). I haven’t decided how best to approach it yet (simple meanings on one page or dedicated in-depth meaning for a card per post, etc.) but I’ll get started on them soon- hopefully this weekend. In the meantime, here’s another daily with the Zigeuner.

The cards are Sweetheart + Judge + Widower
Judge being surrounded by Sweetheart and Widower suggests that today’s theme will be about evaluating something and perhaps making a decision. Widower, I’m seeing here as one of my bosses so I believe this evaluation would be work-related.
When reading the Gypsy cards, I always take note of the body language and direction to give me additional insight. Often times, it’ll get down to the details for me. Here, Sweetheart is facing towards Judge while Widower is facing away. Judge is also looking more slightly towards the left than the right. For this draw, it is more likely that I’ll be the one doing the evaluating, maybe for my boss and something he’s thinking about or something that he will be supportive about.
Taking the direction of Judge into consideration, another way to look at this is for Judge to represent not only the situation of evaluating something but also a figure who could be the key to that process- which probably wouldn’t be the aforementioned boss because Widower is faced away from Judge.
Thinking about yesterday’s daily Lenormand (which has been updated with feedback results), Judge may then be talking about the process in which my project proposal will be evaluated by the managing director and other higher ups today. This could very well be a part of it.
As usual, I’ll update!
Hi Tea! I just want to say thanks for helping me out with my reading the other day. I’m having so much more trouble learning these gypsy cards than lenormand. =’( Hooray for meanings! I can’t wait! The way you’re reading this lay is interesting. I thought maybe Judge is saying a divorce for Sweetheart and the result is a Widower! What do you think? Can you read it like that?
~Kat~
I really like your thoughts on this draw, Tea.
Sometimes the Widow will come up for me representing a situation from the past, rather than an actual person.
In that vein, you could be doing some serious evaluating, weighing things about something in the past that still has a some kind of hold.
Sometimes, there can be a few layers to these! and I’m with Cat, they’re a little more difficult to blend than the lenormand, but they’re addictive! LOL
