In the recent months, I had been getting an unsettling feeling regarding my job through changes happening at work and the vibes I’ve been getting from some of my Tarot cards plus the general Lenormand work reading I did. I haven’t actually given the subject a real reading yet though, so I decided to do one with the Lenormand cards. I’m going with Sylvie’s no layout method, but also incorporating a bit of how Chanah reads the Line of Nine. Initially, I wasn’t planning on using this many cards… but they really caught my attention so I left them in:

13 Child, 3 Ship, 20 Garden, 19 Tower, 35 Anchor, 25 Ring, 6 Cloud, 32 Moon, 8 Coffin
I used Anchor as my focus card, as I personally feel it stands for work and career more than Fox does to me. Plus I wanted to keep Fox free for deception if needed. My question was in regards to the future of my job at this company- basically what I can expect to come up especially in terms of my employment there. I’m going to do a quick breakdown of the card interpretations first and build up from there onto combos, etc. The summary with the cards as related to my situation should wrap it up.
Tower+Anchor+Ring as the immediate surrounding cards, in my case, is likely referring to my employment contract with a huge corporate company. Moving towards the left, Garden tells me that the job or company deals with the public or entertainment of some form. Ship would indicate that this job either involves a lot of traveling or has something to do with overseas. Child is perhaps saying this was job in a new field, something I had never done before, something fresh. All of the above is true, and even more so when read together for the past or background of my job.
Child+Ship talks of the new opportunity that I was offered from a company overseas in a field that was completely fresh for me, to help launch a new project, all the while working in a different country than the one my company is located in. Ship+Garden also required me to travel quite a bit and deal with the public (I started out working as a travel editor, networking with PRs, making connections with local tourism bureaus, interviewing hot spots, critiquing restaurants, writing about them, etc). Garden+Tower describes the company as a large corporation dealing with the public, entertainment, lifestyle services… all true.
Reflecting the cards, I get Ship+Moon which tells me the offer was an honor and that it was something like the opportunity of my dreams… both true again. Garden+Cloud brings ambiguity and confusion, especially in regards to the people I worked with/under and also the direction constantly changing. Child+Coffin reflecting each other is kind of interesting. Perhaps it is saying that while this was a great opportunity and beginning for me… it has now also reached its end.
If I look to the right, the future, Ring+Cloud doesn’t bode well for my contract or agreement with the company. It’s showing an instability in that area, and though it’s moving away from Ring, it’s heading towards Moon which also doesn’t bode well. The Moon, which once was an honor is now changing. Acknowledgments might become clouded and things are just unstable as a whole. I really do feel like there’s this huge ambiguous cloud hanging above me these days, especially after certain changes were made within the company… causing a lot of confusion and a loss of direction, which in turn resulted in a lot of stress. Then finally, we have the Coffin as the result, which I think means what I fear would happen. ‘Tis the end of my employment at this company. Whatever setbacks or confusion that the Cloud is bringing, it doesn’t end well… and I think the Coffin only reinforces the negativity there.
To confirm and also to do an extra experiment, I’ll be following this up with a reading on timing- perhaps asking how much longer I would be working at this company, so expect another reading as soon as I’ve got it down. Sigh… this is one reading where I really hope will turn out to be inaccurate.
